Madison County Releases Latest Health Inspection Scores

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The Madison County Health Department published the newest health inspection scores for food and lodging establishments on May 5-9, 2025. The scores, which use a 100-point scale, indicate how well these locations comply with food safety and hygiene regulations.
A total of eight establishments achieved perfect scores of 100. Notable among them were TJ Wing Shack and Piper & Leaf Artisan Tea Co.
The breakdown of scores revealed that several establishments fell below the acceptable thresholds. Noteworthy scores included Edgar’s Bakery and Ol' Heidelberg Inc, both receiving scores below 85.
In the 85-89 range, establishments like Dodge’s Store #7001 and Starbucks were highlighted. Many locations scored between 90 and 95, such as Taco Bell #037193 and Circle K Store 2709303.
Alongside these scores, the report identified critical violations at a number of businesses. For instance, Burger Quest DBA Titos Burger and Culver's were noted for serious infractions.
The Health Department emphasized the importance of complying with safety standards to protect public health. They urge consumers to pay attention to scores when choosing dining options.
