Mark Zuckerberg’s Unique Porsche Minivan Creation
Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, has recently showcased a uniquely modified vehicle – a Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT minivan. This creation was revealed through a social media post, highlighting the vehicle’s distinctive features and origins.
In a recent Instagram post, Zuckerberg shared an image of his new Porsche alongside his wife Priscilla Chan‘s vehicle. Both cars feature a light gray finish known as “Crayon,” according to Porsche’s description of the color.
Zuckerberg quipped about the creation in his post, stating, “Priscilla wanted a minivan, so I’ve been designing something I’m pretty sure should exist: a Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT Minivan.” This custom Cayenne seems to have been retrofitted with power sliding doors, a typical feature in modern minivans. The extent of interior modifications, however, remains undisclosed.
The project was reportedly executed with the assistance of West Coast Customs, a California-based auto body shop renowned for its bespoke modifications of luxury and classic cars. This workshop is known for its high-profile clientele, including figures like Justin Bieber and Shaquille O'Neal.
Angus Fitton, a spokesperson for Porsche, confirmed to Business Insider via email that the company did not produce Zuckerberg’s custom vehicle. Nevertheless, he acknowledged Porsche’s “Sonderwunsch,” a customization department, stating, “To date we’ve not yet been asked to create a minivan!”
The Cayenne Turbo GT’s base model starts at $90,000. When equipped with additional upgrades such as a more powerful engine and enhanced body features, the price can soar to over $200,000. Meanwhile, the Porsche 911 GT3 Touring that Zuckerberg also added to his collection was a model that recently ended production, with a starting price of $164,650.
Zuckerberg is typically recognized for his more modest vehicle preferences, having been seen in cars like a black Acura TSX, a Volkswagen Golf GTI, and a Honda Fit, all valued at $30,000 or less. Despite these more economical choices, his collection does include luxurious vehicles, including an Italian sports car worth over $1 million.
