Medical City Healthcare Dallas Fort Worth Hospitals And Community Services

Medical City Healthcare, one of the largest and most comprehensive healthcare providers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, has been enhancing its services and community impact in recent weeks. The network, which includes 21 hospitals, 8 off-campus emergency rooms, 16 ambulatory surgery centers, and over 5,500 active physicians, continues to expand its healthcare offerings to better serve the North Texas community.

One of the key initiatives is the strategic partnerships that Medical City Healthcare has established to support various healthcare services. This includes the Transfer Center, which provides specialty transport teams for high-risk patient transport, and the CareNow urgent care services, offering convenient Web Check-In® at more than 55 locations.

The healthcare provider is also committed to community service and philanthropy. Through the Medical City Foundation, the organization supports local nonprofits and has recently made a $50,000 donation to local charities to honor the 50th anniversaries of some of its hospitals. Additionally, Medical City Healthcare hospitals have partnered with the DEA for Drug Take Back Events, further demonstrating their commitment to community health and safety.

Medical City Healthcare is also focusing on advancing the practice of nursing, with a strong emphasis on developing the next generation of nurses. The organization’s nurses play a crucial role in advocating for patients and providing individualized support within the community.

In terms of patient care management, Medical City Healthcare offers the MyHealthONE patient portal, which allows patients to manage their health records, schedule appointments, and share health records securely. This digital platform is available through the App Store and Google Play.
