Additionally, a disturbance in the middle of next week will bring a better chance for showers and storms. This system is predicted to shift temperatures significantly downward, with highs dropping to the 70s by the end of next week and lows dipping to the 50s.

In the Twin Cities, high temperatures on Saturday afternoon were projected to be in the mid-80s, feeling closer to 90°F due to humidity. Saturday will see a mix of sun and clouds, while Sunday afternoon is anticipated to push temperatures into the 90s with heat index values reaching the mid-90s. Attendees at the Vikings game should not experience severe weather, as storms are expected to arrive later in the night.

Currently, there is a marginal risk for severe weather in western Minnesota on Sunday night. The weather is expected to remain unsettled throughout the upcoming work week, with a chance of storms nearly every day and temperatures declining to the 70s by the end of the week and possibly 60s by next weekend.
