Netflix’s ‘Pop the Balloon Live’ to Premiere April 10 with Yvonne Orji

LOS ANGELES, March 27, 2025 – Netflix is set to premiere a live version of the popular dating series ‘Pop the Balloon,’ beginning April 10 at 8 p.m. ET. The show, created by Arlette Amuli, offers singles a unique twist on speed dating as they attempt to maintain their balloons while forming romantic connections.

In ‘Pop the Balloon Live,’ contestants will face the suspenseful stakes of real-time eliminations. As tensions rise, one thing is clear: when a contestant’s balloon pops, their chance at love vanishes.

The series will be hosted by Yvonne Orji, known for her role in HBO’s ‘Insecure.’ Orji’s hosting is anticipated to add an engaging element to the interactive format of the show, which aims to captivate new and returning fans alike.
