New Cast Joins Indie Thriller ‘Born To Burn’ Starring Franco

LOS ANGELES, CA — Born To Burn Films has expanded the cast of its upcoming indie action thriller, ‘Born To Burn’. The film stars James Franco, Ron Perlman, and Natalie Burn, with new additions from popular series and films.

Production on ‘Born To Burn’ commenced in August. The film is set in the 1980s and tells the story of Donald ‘Don’ Foster, played by Franco. Don is a man battling his past and striving for sobriety, hoping to achieve peace day by day.

The plot thickens when June, portrayed by Burn, a troubled addict, abandons her young son on Don’s doorstep. This unexpected turn forces Don back into a violent lifestyle he tried to escape.

He faces threats from his former boss, Brooks, played by Perlman, a menacing crime lord familiar with Don’s deepest secrets. In a race against time, Don must navigate his redemption while protecting the boy and confronting the mistakes of the woman who brought him back into the darkness.

Emmy-winning director Timothy Woodward Jr., known for ‘Studio City‘, is helming the project. Top Film Distribution is managing international sales after premiering the film to buyers at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).

The cast also includes talent from various agencies, such as Gersh, Global Artists Agency, and Paradigm.
