Hollywood, CA
A new comedy film titled “Skit” will premiere on Tubi on November 14, 2023. The film will enjoy a 30-day exclusive streaming window before it moves to worldwide sales.
Produced by Jamie Shapiro‘s EShap, the film marks the feature debut of writer-directors Badr Mastrouq and Des Lombardo. It was made on a tight budget of $65,000 in just eight days, reflecting an efficient production process.

The cast includes Jamie Linn Watson, Nataly Aukar, Jamie Shapiro, Alise Morales, Lukas Arnold, and Jacob Kaplan. Each brings a unique touch to the humorous narrative.
Filmhub has partnered with Shapiro for worldwide distribution rights, aiming to expand the film’s reach following its initial streaming run on Tubi.
As the entertainment industry evolves, projects like “Skit” showcase the possibilities of low-budget filmmaking, highlighting talent and creativity over lengthy production timelines.
More details on the film’s reception and viewership will likely emerge after its release date.
