Los Angeles, CA – Intrada Records has unveiled a new soundtrack album for the 1995 action thriller ‘Crimson Tide,’ directed by Tony Scott. The album features the complete original score by Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer, who is known for works like ‘The Lion King’ and ‘Inception.’

This new release celebrates the movie’s 30th anniversary and includes nearly 30 minutes of previously unreleased music. Film aficionados can find audio samples and preorder the 2-CD set on Intrada’s website.

Zimmer’s score for ‘Crimson Tide,’ which stars Denzel Washington and Gene Hackman, drives the tension of the underwater thriller about a submarine crew in a hostile situation. The inclusion of a 2014 demo suite prepared by Zimmer and collaborator Steve Mazzaro for a live concert adds unique value to the collection.

‘Crimson Tide’ is also available on platforms like Amazon and has been a staple in film music discussions since its release.

The album boasts an extensive track list, with highlights including ‘Main Title,’ ‘This Is Not a Drill,’ and ‘Court of Inquiry – Resolution/End Titles.’

For those interested in Zimmer’s influential work, this release provides a comprehensive look into the score of a classic film. The soundtrack is available for purchase now.
