Nigel Latta Cancer Diagnosis

Prominent psychologist and media personality Nigel Latta has announced that he has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. In a heartfelt video shared on Facebook, Latta revealed that he was given a prognosis of six to twelve months to live.

Latta’s journey began a month ago when he visited his general practitioner, reporting discomfort and a feeling of fullness in his throat. Following this consultation, he was referred to a gastroenterologist, who discovered a tumor located at the base of his stomach.

During his consultation, the specialist indicated that the tumor was likely cancerous and explained that it was inoperable and incurable. Latta described the moment as one of the most traumatic experiences of his life, stating that he felt paralyzed by the news.

On the day of his diagnosis, Latta shared that he and his family went to a hotel, where he indulged in ice cream and allowed himself to grieve the situation. He has since started chemotherapy treatment, which has made him feel fatigued and unwell, although he reported that the tumor has shrunk by approximately sixty percent.

Currently, Latta is preparing for a new three-month round of chemotherapy. Throughout this difficult time, he expressed immense gratitude for the support of his wife, Natalie Flynn, whom he described as the center of his world.

In his video, Latta conveyed an important message of resilience, encouraging others to focus on what can be controlled despite facing overwhelming circumstances. He mentioned that he will continue to provide updates about his health as he navigates through this battle.
