The Opposition’s INDIA bloc emerged victorious in the bypoll results declared by the Election Commission. The INDIA bloc secured 10 seats, overshadowing the BJP, which managed to secure only 2 seats. Mamata Banerjee‘s Trinamool Congress (TMC) swept the bypolls in West Bengal, with multiple wins in constituencies including Raiganj, Bagda, Ranaghat Dakshin, and Maniktala.

In the Raiganj seat of West Bengal, TMC‘s Krishna Kalyani claimed victory over BJP‘s Manas Kumar Ghosh. The Bagda seat was won by TMC‘s Madhupurna Thakur defeating Binay Biswas from the BJP. Meanwhile, Mukut Adhikari of TMC won in Ranaghat Dakshin by a significant margin. Supti Pandey of TMC emerged victorious in the Maniktala constituency.

The Congress party excelled in both Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. Harish Rawat, a prominent Congress leader, expressed enthusiasm over the spectacular results achieved by the party in the recent bypolls. Kamlesh Thakur of the Congress secured the Dehra seat in Himachal Pradesh, while Hardeep Singh Bawa won in Nalagarh. Lakhapat Singh Butola emerged victorious in both the Badrinath and Mangraul seats in Uttarakhand.

Congress Chief, Mallikarjun Kharge, highlighted the diminishing political credibility of PM Modi and Amit Shah following the bypoll results. The INC leader attributed the INDIA bloc’s success to voters’ rejection of the BJP’s governance.

In Punjab, the Aam Aadmi Party‘s Mohinder Bhagat celebrated victory in the Jalandhar West constituency, far surpassing the BJP’s Sheetal Angural. Meanwhile, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the Tamil Nadu DMK party saw success in various constituencies.

Shankar Singh emerged victorious in Bihar‘s Rupauli seat, defeating Kaladhar Prasad Mandal of JD(U). The recent bypolls marked a significant political shift post the Lok Sabha elections, showing a clear voter preference for the INDIA bloc over the BJP-led NDA.
