PlayStation Direct Restocks 30th Anniversary PS5 and DualSense Controller
PlayStation Direct is offering a second chance for gamers to pre-order the highly sought-after 30th Anniversary Edition of the PS5 and the DualSense controller. After the initial pre-orders sold out almost instantly last month, PlayStation Direct has announced a restock for these limited-edition items. As of October 29, 2024, shoppers are advised to check the listing page at 9 a.m. PT for the PS5 Slim Digital Edition – 30th Anniversary Collection Edition and the DualSense Controller – 30th Anniversary Edition.
The PS5 Digital Edition 30th Anniversary Edition Bundle includes a PS5 Digital Edition console with 1TB storage, a DualSense controller, and a vertical stand, all featuring a retro gray colorway. This bundle is priced at $499 and also includes a console cover for the PS5 Disc Drive, although the Disc Drive itself is sold separately.
The DualSense Controller (30th Anniversary Edition) has been given a special makeover to celebrate the look of the original PlayStation controller. This limited-edition controller is set to be restocked at the same time and is priced at $79.
It is important to note that there is no indication of a restock for the limited-edition PS5 Pro bundle, PlayStation Portal, or DualSense Edge at this time. However, the base PS5 Pro is still available across various retailers, including PlayStation Direct, Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart.
Given the high demand and quick sell-out of the initial pre-orders, this restock presents a rare opportunity for those who missed out earlier. Gamers are advised to act quickly, as these items are likely to sell out rapidly once again.
