The Fessenden Center Annex Building, located in Buxton, is set to host a pop-up library event on Tuesday, October 1, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. The event is organized by staff from the Hatteras Library, presenting an opportunity for local residents to access a range of library materials.

During the event, visitors will have the chance to browse and borrow from a selection of books and other library resources. This initiative aims to enhance accessibility to library services for community members who may not have regular access to the Hatteras Library.

Adding to the social benefits of the day, the Beach Food Pantry will also be present at the event. They will be offering a produce pick-up service for island residents, thus providing access to fresh food and contributing to community welfare.

Residents interested in more information about activities related to the Hatteras Library or other upcoming events organized by the Dare County library system are encouraged to visit the library’s official website or contact their local branches.
