President Tinubu Appoints New Management Team For Amcon And Communications Agencies

President Bola Tinubu has announced the appointment of a fresh management team for the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON), pending confirmation by the Nigerian Senate. The appointees include Gbenga Alade as the newly appointed Managing Director/CEO of AMCON, along with Aminu Ismail, Adeshola Lamidi, and Lucky Adaghe serving as Executive Directors.

The President emphasized the need for unwavering dedication, professionalism, and transparency in the operations of AMCON. He aims to enhance investor confidence in the Nigerian economy and maximize the value within the nation’s financial system.

Furthermore, beside the AMCON appointments, President Tinubu has also approved the selection of qualified individuals to serve in key roles within three agencies under the Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy.

For the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Abraham Oshadami, Rimini Makama, and Opeyemi Dele-Ajayi have been appointed to critically contribute to the sector’s growth and stakeholder management.

Additionally, the Nigerian Communications Satellite (NIGCOMSAT) Limited welcomes Abiodun Attah, Aisha Abdullahi, and Jaiyeola Awokoya as part of its Executive Directors team, each responsible for spearheading different aspects of the organization.

Similarly, the Galaxy Backbone (BB) Limited has Ibrahim Adepoju Adeyanju, Mohammed Sani Ibrahim, Olusegun Olulade, and Olumbe Akinkugbe stepping into strategic roles aimed at ensuring the enhancement and development of the digital economy sector in Nigeria.

With the reconstitution of the management teams in these vital communication and digital agencies, President Tinubu expresses optimism that the appointed professionals will deliver exceptional services, thereby elevating the impact of the digital economy on the socio-economic development of the nation.
