Prime Video Announces Star-Studded Cast for Animated Series ‘Kevin’

Culver City, CA — October 7, 2025 – Prime Video has officially announced the voice cast for its upcoming animated series, “Kevin.” Created by Aubrey Plaza and Joe Wengert, the show features a lineup of stars including Jason Schwartzman, Whoopi Goldberg, Amy Sedaris, and John Waters.
“Kevin” tells the story of a neurotic tuxedo cat named Kevin, voiced by Schwartzman, as he navigates life after his human owners split up. Inspired by a real-life breakup, the series offers a comedic and heartfelt look at finding one’s place in the world.
After the unexpected departure of his human guardians, Kevin relocates to a pet rescue in Astoria, Queens. There, he encounters a mix of eccentric animals who help him discover what he really wants out of life. This unique gathering of pets aims to highlight the chaos and humor that comes from both human and animal relationships.
Plaza, who voices Dana—a confident young woman—also serves as an executive producer on the series. Her character’s life is turned upside down when Kevin chooses independence after she ends her relationship.
Joining Schwartzman and Plaza are Nancherla as Judy, a sweet Scottish Fold kitten, and Waters as Armando, a sarcastic Persian cat. Goldberg voices Cupcake, a manic and unpredictable hairless cat, while Gil Ozeri plays Seth, the nurturing man managing the rescue organization called “Furrever Friends.”
The executive production team also includes Dan Murphy, Chris Prynoski, Ben Kalina, Shannon Prynoski, and Antonio Canobbio. The series is produced by Titmouse, Evil Hag Productions, and Amazon MGM Studios.
Fans can look forward to the launch of this animated comedy, which promises to blend heartfelt storytelling with a chaotic energy that reflects the challenges of both pet ownership and relationships.
