Princess Beatrice Second Pregnancy

Buckingham Palace has announced that Princess Beatrice is expecting her second child with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. The news was shared on Tuesday, with the couple expressing that they are “very pleased” to welcome a sibling for Wolfie, aged eight, and Sienna, aged three, in early spring of the new year.

Her Majesty’s granddaughter, Princess Beatrice, who is 36 years old, and Mr. Mapelli Mozzi, who married in 2020, currently have a three-year-old daughter named Sienna. Mr. Mapelli Mozzi has an eight-year-old son, Wolfie, from a previous relationship. The new addition to the family will be the 11th in line to the throne, pushing Beatrice’s younger sister, Princess Eugenie, to 12th place.

King Charles III has been informed of the pregnancy, and both families are reportedly “delighted” with the news. In a statement, Buckingham Palace remarked: “His Majesty The King has been informed, and both families are delighted with the news.” Following the announcement, the Palace released two photographs, one capturing Princess Beatrice and Mr. Mapelli Mozzi in an embrace, and another of Mr. Mapelli Mozzi walking hand-in-hand with Wolfie and Sienna.

Princess Beatrice is the eldest daughter of the Duke of York, Prince Andrew, and Sarah, Duchess of York. The Duchess of York shared her joy on social media, stating, “Becoming a granny again fills my heart with so much happiness and gratitude.”

The announcement brings positive news amidst a challenging period for the royal family, with the King, Princess of Wales, and the Duchess of York being diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.
