This new product was introduced during the Elkhart RV Open House, a notable event in the RV industry. The Renogy 12V 104Ah SUPER SLIM SOLID STATE Lithium Battery aims to deliver a lightweight and reliable power source for off-grid RV applications. According to Tiffany Dorin, Director of Sales & Marketing at Renogy, the company’s mission is to provide an intelligent and energy-dense power supply for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) within the RV industry. This battery is noted for its technical, logistical, and economic advantages, positioning it as an ideal choice for OEM use.

One of the standout features of the battery is its remarkably thin profile, measuring only 2.4 inches in height. This allows for installation in a variety of RV compartments such as under seats or beneath the floor, which are typically considered wasted space. The adoption of solid state technology in the battery offers numerous benefits, including reduced risk of fire, more efficient charging, and improved durability over standard lithium batteries.

The Renogy battery also boasts smart connectivity options, including RV-C integration and Bluetooth functionality. This feature enables RV owners to monitor the battery via a smartphone app or through the system monitor within the vehicle, adding a layer of convenience and control. Such innovative features are expected to enhance the appeal of Renogy’s offerings in the RV market.
