Rhea Ripley Wwe Raw September 2025

EVANSVILLE, Ind. — WWE RAW on September 22, 2025, delivered a night of surprises. Rhea Ripley triumphed over Asuka, but the victory sparked chaos in the ring.

In a thrilling main event, Ripley defeated Asuka after a miscommunication involving Kairi Sane. Asuka attempted to aid Sane but ended up knocking her off the apron, enabling Ripley to secure a roll-up pinfall.

However, the post-match celebration turned grim. Moments after the bell, Asuka unleashed blue mist into Ripley’s face. Then, Asuka and Sane attacked Ripley, only for IYO SKY to run in and intervene. In a shocking twist, Asuka turned on SKY, solidifying a ruthless alliance with Sane against Ripley.

Echoing the tension, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes faced off against World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins ahead of their impending championship match at Crown Jewel on October 11. Both exchanged heated words as they jockeyed for position at the top of WWE.

Throughout the night, several matches showcased intense action. Penta teamed with The War Raiders to defeat The New Day and Grayson Waller in a six-man No Disqualification match. The chaotic bout saw Penta execute an Avalanche Mexican Destroyer for a decisive victory.

In another notable match, Bayley defeated Roxanne Perez with her finishing maneuver, the Rose Plant, but not without a brutal post-match display where she shoved her ally, Lyra Valkyria. Rusev also overcame JD McDonagh, but only after McDonagh’s stablemate, Dominik Mysterio, hesitated to assist him during the fight.

At the end of the night, Stephanie Vaquer made her first appearance as Women’s World Champion, announcing she would meet the winner of a triple-threat match on SmackDown involving Tiffany Stratton, Jade Cargill, and Nia Jax at Crown Jewel.

The tumultuous show sets the stage for a dramatic Crown Jewel event, with rising tensions and alliances reshaping the landscape in WWE’s women’s division.
