SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — Roblox and Discord experienced separate outages on Tuesday, leaving users unable to connect to the platforms. Social media users reported widespread connection errors, prompting frustration among millions of gamers and online communities.

The issues began early Tuesday morning, with Roblox users encountering error messages when attempting to log in or access games. Discord, a popular communication platform, faced a separate API error that prevented users from sending messages. Both companies acknowledged the disruptions and worked to resolve them.

Roblox directed users to its status page to monitor updates, while Discord confirmed the issue on its official status page. “The issue has been identified and a fix is being implemented,” Discord stated in a post. The company assured users that the problem was localized to its messaging API and did not affect other functionalities.

Users took to social media to share their experiences, with many expressing frustration over the outages. “Roblox is down again? This is the third time this month,” tweeted one user. Another Discord user wrote, “Can’t send messages, but at least I know it’s not just me.”

To address the issues, experts recommended several troubleshooting steps. These included verifying server status, checking internet connections, updating applications, and clearing cache and cookies. For Discord users, disabling VPNs and adjusting firewall settings were also suggested as potential solutions.
