Ola Electric‘s CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal, is embroiled in a heated online dispute with comedian Kunal Kamra, igniting widespread reactions among Ola customers and netizens. The conflict began when Kamra criticized the treatment of Ola electric scooters at a dealership, prompting a confrontational response from Aggarwal on X, previously known as Twitter.

Aggarwal retorted to Kamra’s critique by suggesting that if the comedian was genuinely concerned, he should assist the company, stating, “I’ll even pay more than you earned for this paid tweet or from your failed comedy career. Or else sit quiet and let us fix the issues for the real customers.” This comment, seen by over 170,000 users, drew accusations of arrogance towards Aggarwal from various social media commentators.

In response, Kamra challenged Aggarwal to prove the authenticity of his initial complaint as a paid attack, daring, “If you can prove I am paid for this or anything else I must’ve said against private companies, I’ll delete all social media & sit quietly forever.” The exchange escalated as Kamra proposed a refund policy for dissatisfied Ola customers, which Aggarwal rejected, maintaining that genuine customers are already supported adequately if they face delays.

Aggarwal encouraged Kamra to join his service team, saying, “Comedian ban na sake, chaudhary banne chale. Do your research better next time.” He continued to offer to pay Kamra for his involvement in resolving customer service issues, which the comedian mockingly rejected.

This public spat has attracted significant attention online, with many individuals expressing sympathy towards Kamra’s stance. A social media user remarked, “The worst kind of arrogance is arrogance from ignorance,” criticizing Aggarwal’s handling of customer complaints. Another noted, “I don’t know how to cook but that doesn’t mean I can’t say if the taste is good or not,” relating to the criticism of Ola’s service.

The situation reflects broader concerns regarding Ola Electric’s customer service and product reliability, with numerous netizens and self-identified customers sharing grievances over the company’s service centers and product performance.
