Spectrum App Store Launch Event

STAMFORD, Conn. — Spectrum unveiled its new Spectrum App Store on October 9, 2025, designed to help customers activate, manage, and upgrade their streaming apps. This digital marketplace is available to both Spectrum TV customers and non-video customers. It can be accessed via the My Spectrum App and Spectrum.net.

According to Rich DiGeronimo, President of Product & Technology, the app store aligns with the company’s goal of providing real savings and consumer choice. “Our new Spectrum App Store delivers what our customers want most – real savings with consumer choice and a simpler way to enjoy the up to $125 per month worth of streaming apps that our Seamless Entertainment experience provides,” said DiGeronimo.

The app store allows Spectrum TV customers to add ad-supported apps, including Disney+ Hulu Bundle, ESPN Unlimited, HBO Max, Paramount+, and more—at no extra cost. Customers can also upgrade to premium versions for only the price difference. Non-video customers can use the app store to purchase streaming apps a la carte.

The launch event in New York City featured discussions with industry leaders, including Charter President & CEO Chris Winfrey, AMC Networks CEO Kristin Dolan, and ESPN Chairman Jimmy Pitaro. They spoke about how Spectrum has evolved its content partnerships to support its Seamless Entertainment strategy.

Additionally, Spectrum announced a collaboration with Apple to distribute select live Los Angeles Lakers games through the Apple Vision Pro platform during the 2025-26 season. These games will stream at up to 150 Mbps to authenticated Spectrum SportsNet and internet customers, providing an immersive courtside experience.

Another highlight of the day was a new advertisement featuring comedian Tracy Morgan, titled “Where’s My Knicks Game?” This ad dramatizes the challenges sports fans face when searching for live games and promotes new features in the My Spectrum app that make it easier to find favorite teams.

As part of its ongoing service enhancements, Spectrum plans to launch a new tri-band Advanced WiFi 7 router, Spectrum WiFi Complete, in early 2026. This initiative underscores the company’s commitment to providing advanced connectivity solutions.
