Speculations surrounding Nitish Kumar’s decision to leave I.N.D.I alliance
Speculations are emerging about Nitish Kumar, the leader of the I.N.D.I alliance, leaving the alliance and returning to the NDA fold. If this happens, it will be a major turn of events just before the Lok Sabha elections. It will further strengthen Narendra Modi‘s stronghold in Bihar, where the NDA alliance won 39 out of 40 seats in the previous Lok Sabha elections.
The rift between Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad Yadav had initially seemed beneficial for the BJP in Bihar. However, it is now being questioned how these complications arose between the two leaders.
A close aide of Nitish Kumar revealed to Amar Ujala that the Bihar Chief Minister became concerned about some of the statements made by BJP leaders. These statements not only irked Nitish Kumar but also raised concerns within his own party. As a result, he reached out to Lalu Prasad Yadav and decided to form an alliance between JDU and RJD. In this alliance, it was agreed that Tejashwi Yadav would be the next Chief Minister of Bihar, while Nitish Kumar would receive support from RJD in national politics.
