On September 18, 2024, Tallulah Willis shared an update on her father, Bruce Willis, and how the family copes with the challenges brought by his diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia. Speaking with Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb on NBC‘s ‘TODAY‘, Tallulah expressed that while her father is stable, the situation is difficult. “He’s doing stable, which in this situation is good, and it’s hard,” she conveyed. Despite the challenges, she emphasized, “There’s painful days, but there’s so much love.”

Tallulah Willis, the youngest daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, voiced her reflections on her relationship with her father, noting how their bond might have evolved under different circumstances. In a past essay for Vogue, she mentioned, “I’ve always recognized elements of his personality in me, and I just know that we’d be such good friends if only there were more time.” This sentiment highlights the depth of their connection and the impact of her father’s illness.

Moreover, Tallulah’s experiences with her father’s condition have taught her to embrace the present. “It’s really shown me to not take any moment for granted, and I really do think that we’d be best friends,” she stated. Tallulah believes her father is proud of her, which motivates her to find gratitude even during difficult times.

Apart from her father’s health journey, Tallulah has been open about her own challenges, including her recent public discussions about her autism diagnosis. Sharing her story has been therapeutic and has driven her to help others facing similar battles. “It was very emotional,” she explained on ‘TODAY’. “If I’m being honest, I really hated myself and I thought I was very broken… it gave me more grace for myself.”

Tallulah’s candid revelations provide insight into the family’s path since Bruce Willis’ diagnosis. Despite the difficulties, she finds solace in the love and connection they share, affirming that, “Our visits have so much love, and I feel that.”
