Teen Hospitalized After Fall at Canada’s Wonderland Ride

A 17-year-old girl is currently receiving medical treatment after experiencing a medical episode and falling from a ride at Canada's Wonderland, a popular amusement park located in Vaughan.

Authorities from York Regional Police responded to the scene at approximately 2:30 p.m. following reports of the incident involving the teenager. The girl’s fall from the Swing of the Century ride was attributed to a medical emergency, resulting in her being transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

In a statement issued by Canada’s Wonderland, officials confirmed the incident involving a guest falling from the Swing of the Century ride and assured that an investigation is underway. The theme park emphasized the utmost priority placed on the safety of all visitors and staff members.

The Technical Safety and Standard Authority (TSSA) conducted an inspection of the ride on-site and verified its safety, subsequently announcing that the Swing of the Century would resume operations the following day.
