Thandi Modise Denies Allegations Of Leaving Anc For Mk Party

African National Congress (ANC) National Executive Committee member Thandi Modise has refuted claims of defecting from the ANC to join the newly-formed MK Party associated with former President Jacob Zuma.

In response to recent reports suggesting her departure from the ANC and resignation from her role as Minister of Defence and Military Veterans, Modise dismissed these allegations as baseless and aimed at fostering division within the ANC.

Modise, a former combatant of Umkhonto we Sizwe (MK), rejected the circulated rumors, emphasizing her unwavering loyalty to the ANC, stating, “I will stay in the ANC and I intend to die as a member of the ANC, no matter what happens to the ANC.”

She urged steadfast ANC members to persevere in social upliftment efforts, honoring the sacrifices made in the struggle against apartheid, and reiterated her commitment to remain a dedicated member of the ANC.
