How to Unlock the Revenant in Elden Ring: Nightreign

(City, State) — Players eager to explore all character classes in Elden Ring: Nightreign will soon discover a unique challenge awaiting them. The Revenant, one of eight character classes, is not available from the outset. To access her abilities, players must first conquer specific quests in the game.
After defeating Gladius, the first Nightlord, players will gain the Old Pocketwatch, necessary for unlocking the Duchess, another character class. Unlocking the Duchess expands the inventory at the Small Jar Bazaar, where they can purchase a significant Relic, the Besmirched Frame, for 1,500 Murk, which players can earn during expeditions.
Once the Besmirched Frame is acquired, head to the eastern wing of the Roundtable Hold. There, players will encounter the ghostly figure of the Revenant, who is fixated on a painting. Interacting with this phantom transports the character to a unique arena where the Night Idol, the Revenant’s first form, awaits.
The boss battle against the Night Idol presents players with formidable challenges. Before engaging the Revenant, players will face three spectral allies: a large Skeleton, a Pumpkin Head, and a smaller enemy. This encounter demands strategy as players should draw the smaller phantoms away before attempting to confront the Revenant.
During the fight, players will need to prioritize dodging powerful incantations launched by the Night Idol while dealing damage. Once the enemies are defeated, players can either return to the Roundtable Hold or continue to face the Revenant herself. The Revenant possesses abilities that keep gameplay dynamic, including her skill to summon slain enemies as temporary allies.
Should players fall against the Night Idol, they may interact with the Revenant phantom again for a second chance. After successfully defeating her, players will unlock the Revenant, adding a spellcasting character with a unique playstyle to their roster.
The Revenant class emphasizes support with a low health pool, requiring players to adopt a strategic distance during battles, casting spells while utilizing summoned spirits as front-line defenders. Once her spells and abilities are mastered, players can maximize Revenant’s combat potential, making her a valuable character on any team.
