The Voice Season 26 Coaches

The highly anticipated 26th season of NBC‘s hit series, The Voice, kicks off tonight, featuring a reconfigured coaching panel that includes both returning veterans and fresh faces. The season’s premiere, set for September 23 at 8 p.m. ET, introduces viewers to the new dynamics and competition features that promise to reinvigorate the popular singing show.

The coaching panel for this season includes veteran coaches Gwen Stefani and Reba McEntire, alongside newcomers Michael Bublé and Snoop Dogg. Stefani, who has a storied history with the show, returns as Coach for the eighth time, seeking to replicate her Season 19 victory. McEntire, known as the Queen of Country, also returns for her third season, fresh off her championship win last season.

Adding a fresh twist to the lineup, Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé will serve as coaches for the first time. Snoop Dogg, who gained additional media attention as a Special Correspondent at the 2024 Paris Olympics, expressed enthusiasm about showcasing his music expertise as a coach. Michael Bublé, who had previously been invited numerous times to join the show, finally accepted the role, emphasizing his desire to coach rather than judge performers.

This season also sees a new feature in the Blind Auditions. For the first time, coaches will have the option to use a “Coach Replay” button, which provides them an additional opportunity to recruit singers after initially deciding not to turn their chairs. This adds a strategic layer to the competition, increasing the pressure and excitement for both coaches and contestants.

The Voice airs weekly on NBC, with viewers also having the option to stream episodes the following day on Peacock. The show continues to be a platform for emerging vocal talent, allowing contestants to receive guidance and mentorship from some of the music industry’s most prominent figures.
