Dallas Texas Weather Forecast

DALLAS – Warm and dry conditions are settling across North Texas, with meteorologists forecasting another warm afternoon today. Dallas will reach a high near 88 degrees, slightly cooler than Saturday’s 90-degree heat due to high, thin cirrus clouds moving in from the west.

The warm air is dry, with dew points in the 50s making it feel comfortable rather than muggy. FOX 4 Meteorologist Evan Andrews notes that there is no heat index to worry about today. As the week progresses, Monday is expected to be one of the cooler days with a high around 85 degrees.

The incoming storm system from the west might bring extra clouds and possibly a few isolated sprinkles Monday night. However, after these clouds pass, a weak ridge of high pressure will return by Tuesday, pushing temperatures back to around 88 degrees.

Looking ahead, the forecast indicates a string of warm 90-degree days beginning Wednesday, which marks the start of October. The temperatures are expected to be 90 degrees and sunny on Oct. 1, with similar forecasts predicting highs of 91 degrees on Thursday and Friday. This persistent warm air indicates a continued dry spell across the region.

Rain is unlikely this week, with forecasts showing no significant cold fronts on the horizon. Residents hoping for cooler weather will have to wait, as the dry warmth will continue into early next week, maintaining highs in the upper 80s to low 90s, well above the average of 84 degrees for this time of year.

As community members prepare for the heat, Andrews encourages everyone to stay hydrated and enjoy the warm weather while it lasts.
