Houston Rockets Vs Golden State Warriors Nba Playoffs

SAN FRANCISCO, California — The Golden State Warriors will take on the Houston Rockets Saturday night in Game 3 of their NBA Western Conference Playoffs series at the Chase Center. The teams are tied at one game apiece, making this a vital contest for both.

In Game 1, the Warriors secured a win in Houston, defeating the Rockets 95-85, led by Stephen Curry’s 31 points and Jimmy Butler’s 25 points, along with six rebounds and six assists. However, momentum shifted in Game 2 when the Rockets triumphed with a 109-94 victory, thanks to Jalen Green’s impressive 38 points and six assists.

The Rockets’ defense played a critical role in their Game 2 success, holding the Warriors to just 41.3% shooting. Golden State also faced injury troubles, as Butler exited the game after a hard fall, potentially sidelining him for Game 3.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr expressed hope that Butler could play Saturday, but his status remains uncertain. Kerr acknowledged Golden State’s challenges without Butler, who has become a key player since his acquisition. In his absence, the Warriors may need a big performance from Curry or other bench players.

Meanwhile, the Rockets hope to build on their Game 2 success, with Alperen Sengun contributing 17 points, 16 rebounds, and seven assists. They excelled at rebounding, winning that battle 47-33. Dillon Brooks also added 16 points, showcasing Houston’s depth.

Game 3 is set to tip-off at 8:30 p.m. ET, and fans can watch the action on ABC, NBC Sports Bay Area, and Space City Home Network. The Rockets and Warriors matchup promises to be intense as both teams vie for a crucial lead in the series.
