WWE 2K23 Servers Shut Down Less Than Two Years After Launch
WWE 2K23, the official wrestling tie-in game launched on March 14, 2023, has officially gone offline as of January 6, 2025. The shutdown, announced by 2K Games in September 2024, marks the end of all online functionalities, including online matches and Community Creations. Players who own the game can still access offline modes, but the online experience is now permanently unavailable.
The server closure comes less than two years after the game’s release, a move that has sparked frustration among fans. Virtual currency (VC) and downloadable content (DLC) were pulled from sale in November 2024, further limiting the game’s accessibility.
