Youtube Tv Custom Multiview Feature

Mountain View, CaliforniaYouTube TV is rolling out a new feature that allows subscribers to create custom Multiviews for non-live sports content. This experimental feature will enable users to select from a small list of popular national channels, which includes networks like Bravo, ESPN, and USA.

The custom Multiview option will start appearing for some users over the next few weeks and will gradually expand. According to YouTube, this feature is part of a broader strategy to enhance user engagement by providing more personalized viewing options.

The company stated, “We’ll be slowly rolling this experiment out to users, so don’t worry if you don’t have access yet. You will soon!” As users embrace the custom Multiview, YouTube TV plans to include additional local channels in the coming months.

In addition to the custom Multiview, YouTube TV is also preparing a separate launch of an “Always-On” Multiview. This feature will include local channels such as ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC and aims to cater to viewers who want a consistent stream of their preferred networks.

This dual approach to Multiview features shows YouTube TV’s commitment to adapt and innovate in the competitive streaming market.
