Aliyah Boston Shines in Fever’s Victory Over Storm

SEATTLE, WA (June 24, 2025) — The Indiana Fever ended their three-game road trip on a high note, defeating the Seattle Storm 94-86 on Tuesday night. Aliyah Boston led the Fever with a career-high 31 points, while Kelsey Mitchell added 26 points, including five three-pointers.
Boston, a 6-foot-5 forward and former No. 1 overall pick, had notched a previous career-best score of 26 points in a game against the Las Vegas Aces earlier this season. The Fever showcased their strength in the third quarter of the match against the Storm, outscoring Seattle 30-19.
“We had a great team effort tonight,” said Fever head coach. “Aliyah and Kelsey really stepped up, especially in the third quarter when we needed it the most.”
Lexie Hull contributed 15 points and Damiris Dantas added 10 points, rounding out a strong offensive performance from Indiana. Despite Caitlin Clark struggling to find her rhythm with only six points on 3-for-13 shooting, the Fever managed to build and maintain their lead.
The Storm, who came into the game with a record of 9-6, were led by Skylar Diggins, who scored 22 points. However, despite an early lead, Seattle could not catch up as the Fever controlled the game.
The Fever’s largest lead of the game came when Mitchell hit a three-pointer just before halftime, extending their advantage to 45-39. The win provided a sigh of relief for Indiana, who had lost their previous two games on this road trip, both losses where they gave up substantial leads.
“It feels good to break the losing streak,” Mitchell said. “We know we can compete at this level, and tonight proved that.”
The Indiana Fever will return home to face the Los Angeles Sparks on Thursday, June 26, while the Seattle Storm will host the Connecticut Sun on Friday.
