Nfl Players Athleteand Campaign

Washington, D.C. – The NFL Players Association (NFLPA) has relaunched its impactful #AthleteAnd campaign, a project that highlights the diverse lives of its player members beyond football. Originally started in 2018, the campaign now includes a new digital experience and an engaging YouTube video series.

The updated campaign showcases a variety of content aimed at amplifying players’ voices and inspiring fans. Patrick Surtain II, the Denver Broncos’ star cornerback and reigning Defensive Player of the Year, is the first player to be spotlighted in this new phase. Surtain discussed his love for fashion and how he envisions a future career in the fashion industry.

“AthleteAnd is about embracing every part of who you are. I’m not just a football player—I’m a fashion lover, a traveler, someone who wants to inspire and give back,” Surtain said. He underscored the campaign’s purpose: allowing athletes to share their personal stories and take charge of their narratives.

The second feature of the series focuses on Texans rookies Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel, who bond over their shared passion for fishing. Additional players, including Houston Texans tight end Cade Stover, who manages a cattle farm, and Green Bay Packers tight end Luke Musgrave, who has obtained his pilot’s license, will also be featured.

The new YouTube series, created in partnership with the Heartlent Group, will include exclusive interviews, behind-the-scenes content, and discussions with players that explore their unique identities and aspirations. This initiative will serve as a resource for fans, media, and potential partners eager to understand the players’ influence off the field.

“We are proud to partner with the Heartlent Group to relaunch our AthleteAnd series,” said an NFLPA spokesperson. “Their creative vision and deep understanding of athlete storytelling make them the ideal production partner to bring this campaign to life.”
