Sheetz to Open New Location in East Lansing, Creating Jobs

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – Sheetz, the popular gas station and fast food chain, is set to open a new location in East Lansing, Mid-Michigan. This will be the second Sheetz in the state, following the successful launch in Romulus.

Nick Ruffner, Public Affairs Director at Sheetz, emphasized the company’s excitement about entering the East Lansing market. “After a tremendous response to our openings in metro Detroit, we can’t wait to bring the Sheetz experience to Spartan Country,” Ruffner said.

The new store will be located at 111 East Saginaw Street and is expected to create approximately 30 to 35 jobs. Most of these positions will be full-time, offering competitive pay and strong benefits. Ruffner added, “We’re proud to invest in the people of mid-Michigan while delivering the convenience, quality, and service that customers have come to love.”

Sheetz is well-known for its made-to-order fried foods and a unique interior that sets it apart from traditional convenience stores. The company continues to expand its presence in Michigan as demand for its services grows.

This new location is anticipated to open soon, providing residents and visitors in East Lansing a fresh fast food option that has cultivated a loyal following.
