Joanna García Swisher Reba Happy's Place

Hollywood, CA — JoAnna García Swisher is set to guest star in the second season of NBC’s comedy series “Happy's Place,” reuniting with her former co-star Reba McEntire. The announcement was made on September 30, 2025, ahead of the season premiere on November 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, which will also be available for streaming on Peacock.

In her guest appearance, Swisher will portray Kenzie, described as a local social media influencer hired to promote Happy’s Place. However, this new role creates tension for McEntire’s character, Bobbie, who is less than thrilled about Kenzie’s presence in the tavern.

Swisher is well-known for her role as Cheyenne, McEntire’s daughter, in the sitcom “Reba,” which aired from 2001 to 2007. The actress has also starred in Netflix’s “Sweet Magnolias,” where she plays Maddie Townsend. Currently, she is working on the fifth season of that series and is set to direct two episodes.

Previously, “Happy’s Place” featured appearances from other “Reba” cast members, including Steve Howey and Christopher Rich, who have both made guest appearances in the first season. The show’s storyline follows Bobbie, who inherits her father’s tavern and discovers a long-lost half-sister, Isabella.

Alongside McEntire and Swisher, the main cast of “Happy’s Place” includes Belissa Escobedo, Melissa Peterman, Pablo Castelblanco, Tokala Black Elk, and Rex Linn. The series is produced by Universal Television and executive produced by Kevin Abbott, McEntire, and others.

In her earlier roles, Swisher received recognition for her talents, including a Teen Choice Award nomination in 2005. With her reunion on “Happy’s Place,” fans can look forward to another entertaining collaboration between the beloved cast members as they bring their past characters to a new setting.
