WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Donald Trump is reaffirming his commitment to fossil fuels, aligning closely with the conservative blueprint known as Project 2025. The project calls for increasing the production of natural gas, oil, and coal while dismantling initiatives aimed at developing green energy and tackling climate change.

Trump has declared a national energy emergency and criticized former President Joe Biden‘s policies that he claims are detrimental to America’s energy independence. He argues that green energy investments waste taxpayer money, stating that Americans are being denied cheaper and more abundant energy due to what he calls Biden’s ‘war on fossil fuels.’
