MIAMI, FL — The 2025 Billboard Latin Music Awards will take place live on Thursday at 8:00 p.m. EDT from the James L. Knight Center in Miami. Viewers can catch the event on Telemundo, the Telemundo app, and streaming service Peacock. The ceremony will also be broadcast across Latin America and the Caribbean on Telemundo Internacional.

This year, Bad Bunny leads with 27 nominations, breaking a record for the awards. He is competing for top honors, including Artist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, and Top Latin Album of the Year for his work, “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS.” Three of his songs, “BAILE INoLVIDABLE,” “DtMF,” and “NUEVAYoL,” each received five nominations.

Other notable finalists include Fuerza Regida with 15 nominations, followed by Rauw Alejandro with 14, Karol G with 10, and Tito Double P with 10 as well. Finalists also include Netón Vega (8), Grupo Frontera (7), Shakira (6), Óscar Maydon (5), Romeo Santos (5), Clave Especial (4), and Kapo (4). A total of over 70 artists will compete this year, showcasing the global influence of Latin music.

The finalists and winners are determined by performance on Billboard’s weekly charts. This year, awards will be given in 49 categories, covering major genres in Latin music, from pop to tropical and regional Mexican. Special awards will also be presented.

Laura Pausini will receive the Billboard Icon Award and perform during the event. The Billboard Icon Award honors artists whose careers have made them standout figures in their genre.

Peso Pluma will be lauded with the inaugural Billboard Vanguard Award and will also take part in one of the evening’s most anticipated performances. The Vanguard Award recognizes artists who “dare to go beyond the conventional,” according to organizers.

Live performances will feature La Arrolladora Banda El Limón, René Camacho, Olga Tañón, Ozuna, Beéle, Danny Ocean, Juan Duque, Musza, NXNNI, Vega, and Maydon.

The Billboard Latin Music Awards celebrate the most popular albums, songs, and performers in Latin music, based on performance metrics like streaming, album and song digital sales, radio play, and tours tracked by Billboard and data partner Luminate.

The ceremony concludes the Billboard Latin Music Week, running in Miami from October 20 to 24, 2025.
