ALBANY, New York — Adam Sandler and Kevin James surprised fans by visiting a coffee shop on Wednesday morning after performing at MVP Arena the night before.

The two comedians were spotted at Motor Oil Coffee, located at 136 State St., just a short walk from the New York State Capitol. They enjoyed hot drinks and posed for a photo with a staff member at the popular downtown eatery.

This visit followed Sandler’s sold-out show, part of his “You’re My Best Friend” tour, which took place on Tuesday evening. The performance featured many of Sandler’s frequent collaborators, including Steve Buscemi, Kevin Nealon, Rob Schneider, and Luis Guzman, according to MVP Arena marketing director Erin Villeneuve.

Motor Oil Coffee praised Sandler and James in a social media post, thanking them for “revving up their morning with us after an unforgettable show.” The shop expressed its honor in hosting the stars, highlighting its status as a local, family-owned business.

Sandler’s tour continues through Upstate New York. After his Albany appearance, he is set to perform in Syracuse on the same evening at the Oncenter. The actor, who famously wore an Orangemen t-shirt in the 1999 film “Big Daddy,” has strong ties to the region.

After Syracuse, Sandler will conclude his Upstate New York tour with a performance at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo on Sunday, September 21.
