Aftershock Festival Returns to Sacramento with Huge Lineup

SACRAMENTO, California — The Aftershock Festival is back for its 13th year, running from Thursday, October 2, to Sunday, October 5, 2025. This popular music festival promises an exciting lineup with over 115 bands performing on four stages at Discovery Park, 1000 Garden Highway.
Festival gates will open daily at 11 a.m., with music starting at 11:10 a.m. and continuing until 10 p.m. each night. Major acts include Blink-182 and All Time Low kicking off the festival on Thursday. Friday will feature performances by Deftones and another rock band. Saturday highlights include Korn and a progressive metal band, while Sunday will see performances by Bring Me The Horizon and an industrial metal rocker.
Among the numerous acts scheduled for the festival, notable groups such as Taking Back Sunday, Knocked Loose, All American Rejects, Lamb of God, and Black Veil Brides are also set to perform throughout the weekend. The full festival schedule is available on the official Aftershock website.
Tickets for Aftershock are still available. Single-day tickets range from $206 to $217.50, while four-day general admission passes cost between $577 and $2,137.30, all fees included. VIP tickets for the full four days are priced at $357.44.
Aftershock Festival also offers hotel packages starting at $1,165 per person, which include a multi-night stay and access to a welcome party featuring mini-golf and light bites. Nearby hotel options include the Courtyard by Marriott Sacramento Airport Natomas and SureStay Plus by Best Western Sacramento North.
Attendees will not find on-site parking at Discovery Park, and camping is prohibited. Instead, festival-goers are encouraged to utilize the Park & Ride shuttle service from Cal Expo. Shuttle passes are available for $47.77 per day or $143.33 for all four days.
For those planning to drive, limited paid parking is available in designated lots, and attendees may also opt for public transportation such as buses, taxis, or rideshare services. Cyclists can benefit from a free bike valet service at the venue.
Attendees are advised to follow specific rules regarding prohibited items at Discovery Park, including outside food and drinks, chairs, coolers, and recording equipment. The festival operates on a cashless payment system, so bringing credit or debit cards is essential. lockers for rent are available, ranging from $25 to $85.
