Amazon Luna Relaunches with Over 50 Games Free for Prime Members
SEATTLE, WA — Amazon has officially launched its revamped version of the game streaming service, Amazon Luna, which now offers over 50 games at no extra cost to Prime members. The new platform emphasizes accessibility and family fun with the introduction of GameNight, a collection of beginner-friendly multiplayer games.
GameNight features more than 25 local multiplayer games, specifically designed to bring friends and family together in living rooms. The collection will include exclusive titles from Amazon Game Studios, including Courtroom Chaos: Starring Snoop Dogg, an AI voice-driven improv courtroom game where players create humorous characters and defend their stories.
“GameNight takes even further the idea of easy access that’s core to the new Luna,” Jeff Gattis, general manager of Amazon Luna, said. “It delivers a collection of incredibly fun and approachable games that absolutely shine when played together with friends and family.”
In addition to the GameNight offerings, Luna has added new titles like Hogwarts Legacy, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. However, players need a controller or mouse and keyboard for these games, as only those in the GameNight library can be controlled via smartphones.
For Prime members who want access to a larger library of games, Amazon offers Luna Premium for $9.99 per month. This includes even more titles, enhancing the gaming experience beyond the initial offerings of the service. The revamped Luna aims to make gaming more accessible while providing a diverse range of entertaining choices for users.
