Andhra Pradesh’s AP TET Result 2024 To Be Announced Today

The School Education Department of Andhra Pradesh is set to announce the results of the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET 2024) today. Candidates who appeared for the examination conducted from February 27 to March 9 are eagerly awaiting the results.

AP TET is a state-level exam designed to recruit teachers in the government schools of Andhra Pradesh. It consists of two papers with Paper 1 qualifying candidates to teach classes 1 to 5, and Paper 2 for classes 6 to 8.

In order to pass the AP TET examination, candidates belonging to the Open category need to secure at least 60% marks, while the percentages for BC, SC, ST, PH candidates are 50% and 40% respectively.

AP TET results hold significance not only for fresh candidates but also for existing teachers. As per the exemption rules, teachers appointed before August 23, 2010, by competent authorities are exempt from taking the TET. Unapproved private school teachers, however, must pass the TET for government school appointments.
