Apj Abdul Kalam Technological University Ombudsman

The first official sitting of the Ombudsman of APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) has been scheduled for November 5, 2024. The event is set to take place at the university headquarters, according to an official release from the institution.

Students who have previously submitted grievances through their college’s student grievance redressal committees, in line with the University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines, are eligible to appeal to the Ombudsman if no resolution has been provided within 15 days.

The process involves a preliminary review of the appeals by the Ombudsman. If any deficiencies or shortcomings are identified, students will be informed within seven days. They are then required to resubmit their appeals, with necessary adjustments, within an additional seven-day window.

Students wishing to lodge a complaint must do so by email before October 11, 2024. The contact email provided for submissions is [email protected], as per the university’s announcement. Detailed guidelines on the submission process are accessible on the KTU website.
