In order to prepare for the installation of iOS 18, it is advisable for users to free up storage space. This process can be initiated by deleting unused apps, ensuring a smooth installation process. The update is expected to occupy substantial device memory, hence making space beforehand is critical.

The steps to update to iOS 18 are straightforward. Users should navigate to the “Settings” app on their iPhone, select “General,” and then tap on “Software Update.” Following the on-screen instructions, the installation process should take between 30 to 60 minutes.
