Arsenal Recalls Katie Reid From Watford Fc Women After Successful Stint

Arsenal has made the decision to recall young defender Katie Reid from her loan spell at Watford FC Women after an impressive six months with the club.

The 17-year-old centre-back, Katie Reid, has been a standout performer during her time at Watford, featuring in 14 matches throughout the current season.

Reid’s consistent performances on the field have caught the attention of her parent club, Arsenal, prompting her return to the Gunners’ setup.

At Watford FC Women, Katie Reid established herself as a regular starter, with only three players starting more games than her in the 2023/24 season.

Following the recall, Reid will rejoin Arsenal’s first team, bidding farewell to Watford FC Women with well wishes from the club’s Head Coach, Damon Lathrope.
