Bihar Board Declares 2025 Class 10 Results with Mixed Statistics

New Delhi, India — The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) revealed the results for the 2025 Class 10 Matriculation examinations on March 29, 2025, at 12:00 PM. This year’s overall pass percentage is 82.11%, a slight decline from 82.91% in 2024.
During a press conference, Sunil Kumar, the Education Minister of Bihar, and Anand Kishore, Chairman of the BSEB, announced that a total of 15.85 lakh students appeared for the exams, which were conducted from February 17 to February 25, 2025. Students can access their results through BSEB’s official websites.
The top achievers this year are Sakshi Kumari, Anshu Kumari, and Ranjan Verma, each achieving a remarkable score of 97.80%. They are followed by Punit Kumar Singh, Sachin Kumar Ram, and Priyanshu Raj, who all scored 97.60%. The third position was shared by Mohit Kumar, Suraj Kumar Pandey, Kushi Kumari, Priyanshu Ranjan, and Rohit Kumar, each obtaining a score of 97.40%.
In a gender breakdown, boys outperformed girls with a pass percentage of 83.65%, while girls had a pass percentage of 80.67%. Likewise, over 4.7 lakh students achieved a first division, while around 4.8 lakh secured a second division, and more than 3 lakh students passed with third division marks.
Despite the decrease in the overall pass percentage, BSEB noted that 123 students ranked within the top 10 positions this year, reflecting commendable academic prowess. The board reiterated its commitment to transparency and accuracy in the evaluation process, having released Class 10 answer keys earlier on March 6.
Students who secured a position in the top 10 will now benefit from an enhanced scholarship of ₹2,000 per month for two years, an increase from the previous ₹1,200. This scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to talented students as they further their education.
To check their results, students need to visit the official BSEB websites, navigate to the ‘Bihar Board Matric Result 2025’ link, enter their Roll Code and Roll Number, and then review and download their mark sheets.
