Las Vegas, Nevada – Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz will try to end his losing streak when he faces rising contender Bogdan Guskov on December 6 at T-Mobile Arena. UFC President Dana White announced the fight on Monday.

Blachowicz (29-11-1 MMA, 12-8-1 UFC) comes into this matchup after losing his last three fights, the latest against Carlos Ulberg at UFC Fight Night 255 in March. His last victory was a TKO win over Aleksandar Rakic in May 2022.

Meanwhile, Guskov (18-3 MMA, 4-1 UFC) is on a roll since losing his UFC debut to Volkan Oezdemir last September. The 32-year-old finished his next four fights, with his last win coming through stoppage in July.

In another major fight on the same card, UFC flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja will defend his title against rising star Joshua Van, as confirmed by White. This matchup also takes place on December 6.

Pantoja (30-5 MMA, 14-3 UFC) and Van (15-2 MMA, 8-1 UFC) were involved in an exchange after their victories at International Fight Week in June. Pantoja holds a winning streak of eight fights, including recent victories over Brandon Moreno and Kai Kara-France.

In the main event, Merab Dvalishvili (21-4 MMA, 14-2 UFC) will save his UFC bantamweight title against Petr Yan (19-5 MMA, 11-4 UFC). Dvalishvili aims to become the first fighter to defend his title four times in a calendar year, having won against Umar Nurmagomedov, Sean O'Malley, and Cory Sandhagen this year.

Yan, on the other hand, comes into the rematch looking to rebound from a three-fight losing streak, having recently scored unanimous decision victories over Song Yadong, Deiveson Figueiredo, and Marcus McGhee.

UFC 323 promises to be an exciting night for fight fans, featuring several significant matchups that highlight the changing landscape of combat sports.
