Bradford Cathedral to Host Special Pentecost Services and Events
Bradford Cathedral has announced plans to host a series of special services and events in celebration of Pentecost this year.
The cathedral, a historic landmark, will open its doors for services at 10.30am and 3.30pm to mark this significant occasion.
All are invited to join in person at Bradford Cathedral, with a live stream also available for those unable to attend in person at 10.30am.
The Revd Pete Gunstone emphasized the importance of Pentecost, marking the culmination of the Great Fifty Days of Eastertide. This feast underscores the pouring out of the Holy Spirit on all believers.
According to Canon Ned Lunn, later in the afternoon, churches across Bradford will come together in Centenary Square for ‘Pentecost Praise’, a unity event featuring worship, prayer ministry, evangelism, and children’s activities.
Moreover, the cathedral will host an ‘International Pentecost’ event at 6.30pm on Sunday, May 26, celebrating the unity of the Church with attendees from diverse cultures and nations, reflecting the global Church’s rich tapestry.
