Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Servers Stabilized After Recent Updates
Following a series of technical issues, Treyarch has successfully stabilized the servers for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 with its latest update released on November 1. The update addressed several critical bugs that had been affecting players, including a black screen glitch that prevented some users from loading into public or private matches in both Multiplayer and Zombies modes.
The patch notes detailed several key fixes, such as resolving the issue with Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) and Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing (DLAA) upscaling options, and correcting scoring issues in Free-For-All and Search and Destroy game modes. Additionally, the update fixed various stability problems, including issues with the UAV, Vigilance perk, and Infected mode. An exploit that allowed players to re-activate timed GobbleGums in Zombies mode was also closed.
Alongside these technical fixes, the update introduced the highly anticipated Nuketown multiplayer map, a reimagining of the original Nuketown design. This map is now available in a dedicated 24/7 playlist featuring game modes such as Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Domination, and Hardpoint. To incentivize players, Treyarch has also activated double XP and double weapon XP for a limited time.
Despite some initial server issues, Black Ops 6 has broken several Call of Duty records, including the most played Call of Duty game on day one and in total player numbers. This success comes after a four-year development period by Treyarch, which has been recognized as one of the longest development times for a Call of Duty game.
As of the latest reports, the servers for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 are currently stable, with no major outages detected in the past 24 hours.
