CBSE Class 10 and 12 Results Expected Soon

NEW DELHI, India – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is anticipated to announce the Class 10 and Class 12 results for 2025 today. While the official date and time have not been confirmed, previous years indicate that results are typically released in mid-May.
To check their results, over 42 lakh students can visit the official CBSE websites such as cbseresults.nic.in and digilocker.gov.in. Students will need to log in using their roll numbers, admit card IDs, school codes, and dates of birth.
This year’s exams were conducted from February 15 to April 4. The Class 10 exams concluded on March 18, while Class 12 exams wrapped up on April 4. In 2024, the pass percentage for Class 10 was 93.60%, and for Class 12, it was 87.98%.
CBSE has introduced a new Relative Grading system starting with the 2024-25 academic session. This aims to reduce academic pressure by evaluating students relative to their peers instead of fixed mark ranges.
The board discourages the spread of misinformation and urges students to rely solely on verified sources for updates. As in previous years, no topper list will be published to discourage unhealthy competition.
Students are urged to activate their DigiLocker accounts before results are declared to enable quick access. Additionally, results can also be accessed via SMS and the UMANG app for convenience.
As students eagerly await the results, the board assures that this year’s examination practices and new grading systems aim to support and reflect students’ true academic abilities.
