Cbse Declares Ctet Result For January 2024 Session

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the results of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for the January 2024 session. Candidates can now check their results on the official website ctet.nic.in or by clicking on the direct link provided. The CTET examination was conducted by CBSE on January 21, 2024, with approximately 84% of applicants appearing for the exam.

The provisional answer key for CTET was released on February 7, 2024. Soon, the mark sheets and eligibility certificates for CTET January 2024 will be uploaded on DigiLocker. The CTET certificate is now valid for a lifetime, opening doors to teaching positions in central schools, Navodaya Vidyalayas, and Army Schools.

To check the CTET Result, candidates simply need their roll number. There will be no revaluation process as confirmed by CBSE. The minimum passing marks for CTET are 60% for General category candidates and 55% for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

The CTET examination is conducted twice a year by CBSE, with the first taking place in July and the second in December. Those who clear the Paper-1 are eligible for teaching positions from Class 1 to 5, while those who pass Paper-2 can teach from Class 6 to 8. It is anticipated that significant changes may be seen in the CTET rules, with the possibility of introducing a new entrance exam for teachers from Grade 9 to Grade 12.
