Civic Holiday Weekend Predictions: Sunshine and Warmth Ahead!

Published

on

Good news for those looking forward to the Civic Holiday long weekend! It looks like we’re in for some pleasant weather this year.

David Phillips, a Senior Climatologist from Environment Canada, has shared that the rain we’re experiencing this week should clear up just in time for the weekend. So, if you’re planning outdoor activities, it sounds like you might be in luck!

According to Phillips, we can expect temperatures to reach around 29 degrees Celsius on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Plus, those warm evenings will make for great times outside.

This is a welcome change from last year’s Civic Holiday, where almost 40 millimeters of rain fell in Kemptville, leaving everyone with a humid and cooler Monday.

Travelers might want to prepare for a busy Friday, as many people will be hitting the road to take advantage of the extra day off. Happy holiday planning!
